SCC member Dr. Ethan Russo along with Nishi Whiteley, M.S., and WSU Professor Carrie Cuttler are actively recruiting participants across the United States to participate in a proof-of-concept clinical research trial to investigate the efficacy of a non-intoxicating hemp-derived formula for the treatment of symptoms related to menopause.
The purpose of the observational study is to collect data to determine whether there is statistically meaningful evidence that the herbal oil ameliorates psychological symptoms of menopause / perimenopause (e.g., brain fog, anxiety, stress, mood swings, and depression). HealthPartners Cancer Research Center
SCC member Dylan Zylla, MD, MS is a medical oncologist studying the anti-cancer properties of cannabis. His team has published on this topic and just launched a new clinical trial that will help answer this. His team is requesting your assistance finding patients for a new IRB approved study.
Researchers from the HealthPartners Cancer Research Center in Minneapolis, MN are conducting a study in patients with cancer who report that cannabis (marijuana) and/or cannabidiol (CBD) helped to reduce or control growth of cancer. The study will involve a review of medical records and cannabis use patterns to better assess potential anti-cancer benefits of cannabis use.

NYU 'CUSP' Study: Cannabis Use Surrounding Pregnancy
The Division of Environmental Medicine at NYU's Grossman School of Medicine is looking for survey volunteers to help them learn more about CBD, vaping, and its use in the time surrounding childbirth.
Participation is voluntary and your participation involves:
Filling out an online survey
Sharing your opinions on CBD
Sharing your thoughts about using CBD before, during, or after pregnancy
You may qualify to take the survey if you are:
A cannabis user or non-user
18+ years old
Pregnancy, recently pregnant, or before menopause
